SEO Expert in Bangalore for SaaS and B2B Tech Teams Selling Globally

As an SEO expert in Bangalore's SaaS and B2B tech scene, I work remotely from Mumbai with product companies that sell to India, the US, the UK, the UAE and beyond. I'm Ajay Padhy, a former Head of SEO who led international campaigns across North America, the UK and ANZ, and I focus on search that produces pipeline, not just traffic.

OUTCOMES

What this engagement is measured on

Every client's goals are different, and most are a mix. In the first weeks we agree which of these matter to you, record a baseline, and report against it every month. Targets are set after the audit, never promised up front.

Traffic and engagement

Grow non-branded organic clicks to the pages that matter commercially.

What we measure
Non-branded organic clicks, organic sessions and users, engaged sessions and click-through rate.
What usually moves first
Impressions, rankings and click-through rate on pages that are fixed or rewritten.
What follows
Sustained growth in organic clicks and engaged sessions.

Leads, sales and revenue

Turn that traffic into enquiries, sales or sign-ups you can see in GA4 or your CRM.

What we measure
Organic enquiries and leads, conversion rate of key pages, and organic revenue and its share of the total.
What usually moves first
Conversion tracking you can trust, and better conversion paths on the pages that already get traffic.
What follows
Growth in organic leads, sales and revenue share.

Authority: backlinks and topic authority

Build the links and topic depth needed to compete for harder terms.

What we measure
Relevant referring domains, link quality, Domain Authority/Rating trend and how much of each topic your site covers and ranks for.
What usually moves first
New links from relevant sites and more of your topic pages indexed and ranking.
What follows
Rankings on the competitive head terms that need authority to move.

Value delivered vs investment

Show what the organic results are worth against paid clicks and paid leads.

What we measure
What the organic results would cost to buy as paid clicks or paid leads (CPC and CPL based value), and hours saved where work is automated.
What usually moves first
An agreed baseline and the tracking needed to put a value on results.
What follows
A value-to-investment ratio you can track month by month.

Who this is for

Bengaluru is India's best-known hub for SaaS and product start-ups, and that shapes what SEO needs to do here. Most of the companies I speak to are not trying to rank for "software company in Bangalore". Their buyers are product managers in Austin, CFOs in London or IT heads in Singapore, and those buyers now shortlist tools by asking ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews as well as by searching.

The usual failure pattern is a blog full of top-of-funnel posts that bring traffic but no demos, while the pages that close deals (pricing, comparisons, integrations, use cases) are thin or missing. My approach to SEO for SaaS and B2B starts at the bottom of the funnel and works up.

AI assistants are now part of that funnel. I use the same measurement approach described in the AI search visibility framework case study to track whether your product is being named when buyers ask for recommendations, and I connect organic performance to your CRM so the board sees pipeline, not pageviews.

  • B2B SaaS companies in Bengaluru selling to international markets
  • Funded start-ups that need to show organic pipeline to investors
  • Product companies with in-house marketers who need senior SEO direction rather than another vendor
  • Developer-tool and API companies whose docs, changelogs and app pages need to be indexed properly
  • IT and B2B tech services firms with long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Clinics, real estate firms and professional services in Bengaluru that need to show up in local search and Google Maps

DIAGNOSIS

Problems I solve

Common constraints teams face before we begin working together.

Hurdle 01

"Traffic is up, demos aren't"

Top-of-funnel blog posts rank, but nobody who reads them books a demo. The pages that convert buyers are missing or weak.
Hurdle 02

"ChatGPT recommends our competitors, not us"

Buyers ask AI assistants for the best tools in your category and your product isn't in the answer. You need to know why and what influences it.
Hurdle 03

"The board wants organic growth this quarter"

Funding pressure pushes for fast wins, so teams publish volume or buy links. You need a plan that shows early progress without burning the domain.
Hurdle 04

"Our app, docs and marketing site fight each other"

Subdomains, JavaScript rendering and thousands of thin app or template pages confuse Google about what should rank.

What makes SEO in Bengaluru different

The city's tech economy changes who you are ranking for and how success should be measured.

A Bengaluru start-up's SEO problem looks very different from a local services business in the same city. Here is how the market shapes strategy.

Bengaluru market realityWhat it means for your SEO
SaaS and product companies selling globallyTarget country-level buyer queries, not the city; prioritise markets by revenue potential
Buyers shortlist tools through AI assistants and review sitesBuild comparison and alternatives pages; earn mentions on review and listicle sites AI systems cite
Long, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cyclesContent for each role (user, buyer, security, finance); measure pipeline, not sessions
Funding-driven pressure for fast growthShip bottom-funnel pages first for early signal; avoid mass-produced content that risks the domain
Strong in-house tech and marketing teamsAdvisory model works well: I set direction and review, your team executes
Kannada and English for local consumer searchRelevant for B2C and local brands; most B2B tech search is in English

If you are also in the running for Indian mid-market buyers, local intent still matters for sales-led searches like "CRM implementation partner Bangalore". I'll tell you whether that's worth a page.

Not a tech company?

Most people searching for an SEO expert in Bangalore run local businesses, not SaaS companies, and I work with those too. For a clinic, a real estate firm or a professional services practice, the job is different: the right Google Business Profile category, genuine reviews, location pages for the areas you actually serve, and Kannada or English phrasing where your customers use it. If you run a single shop or clinic, a one-off local audit and plan is usually the sensible place to start.

Looking for an SEO company in Bangalore? What to compare first

If you searched for an SEO company, you're probably comparing agencies. I'm not one: I lead every engagement personally, with a team of specialists for execution. Here's how the two models differ.

Bengaluru has plenty of SEO and growth agencies, many built around start-up clients. The choice comes down to what you need more: capacity or judgement.

If you need twenty articles a month and have no one to write them, an agency's capacity may be the right buy. If you have a capable team that is busy but unsure what to prioritise, a consultant is usually better value. I can also bring my small specialist team for technical fixes or content where you have gaps.

Your SEO consultant in Bangalore, working remotely from Mumbai

I'm based in Mumbai and don't have a Bengaluru office. Most Bengaluru tech teams already work remotely with colleagues and customers in other cities and time zones, so this tends to be the least of their concerns.

How it works

  • Calls: working sessions with your marketing lead, plus reviews with founders if needed. We agree the review rhythm at the start, usually fortnightly or monthly.
  • Async by default: comments on briefs and pull requests, a shared Slack or Teams channel, and Loom walk-throughs of audit findings.
  • Dashboard: Looker Studio pulling in GA4, Search Console and CRM data so everyone sees the same numbers.
  • Response times: I aim to reply within one working day; release-blocking SEO questions (a migration, a robots.txt change) get priority.

What I need from you

  1. Access to Search Console, GA4 and read access to your CRM for organic-sourced deals.
  2. A developer contact who can review technical tickets.
  3. Access to product marketing and sales for positioning and competitor context.
  4. Agreement on what "pipeline" means so reporting is honest.

Common objections to hiring an SEO expert in Bangalore

"SEO is too slow for our runway." Partly true. Category-level rankings take time. But bottom-funnel pages targeting high-intent queries can begin producing sign-ups within a few months, and technical fixes on product sites often unlock pages Google was ignoring.

"What will this cost?" Cost depends on the number of markets, the state of your site, content volume and whether my team executes. A market survey puts B2B and SaaS SEO in India at ₹1,00,000–4,00,000 a month; see SEO pricing in India for the full breakdown. I scope after a discovery call rather than selling packages.

"Can you guarantee we'll appear in ChatGPT?" No. Nobody controls what AI assistants say. I can measure how often you're mentioned, fix what's within your control and track whether it improves.

"Can we start small?" Yes. You can start with the audit and roadmap on its own; there's no minimum engagement.

"How do we know you're any good?" Ask me hard questions. This list of questions to ask an SEO consultant is a good start. You also keep ownership of all accounts and content, and there's no lock-in.

FAQ

SEO expert in bangalore: questions clients ask

Straight answers to what people usually want to know before a first call.

Yes. I work remotely from Mumbai with Bengaluru companies, mostly SaaS, product and B2B tech teams. Engagements run over video calls, shared channels and dashboards. I don't have a Bengaluru office; in-person sessions can be discussed for larger engagements, such as a team workshop at the start.

A September 2026 market survey puts B2B and SaaS SEO in India at roughly ₹1,00,000–4,00,000 a month and single-location local SEO at about ₹15,000–35,000 a month. The number of markets, the state of your site, content volume and whether my team executes decide where you sit. If you run a single shop or clinic, I usually recommend a one-off local audit and plan instead. I scope after the intro call.

A freelancer suits a defined, smaller job, such as fixing a set of technical issues or writing a batch of pages. A consultant suits an unclear problem, or a strategy that has to work across marketing, product and development. I lead the strategy and bring in specialists from my team for execution where you need them.

Look for a named person you can speak to, real knowledge of how buyers in your market search, proof you can check, such as case studies or a track record you can verify, and no promise of rankings. A page that only swaps the city name into the same text is a warning sign: it suggests nobody has looked at your market closely. For transparency, I'm based in Mumbai and work with Bengaluru businesses remotely, and I say so on this page.

No. AI Overviews and assistants still rely on pages they can find, read and trust, which is what good SEO builds. What's changed is that being named in an AI answer now matters alongside ranking, so AI-search visibility is part of every SEO engagement I run as standard.

Start at the bottom of the funnel: pricing, comparison, alternatives, integration and use-case pages that match what ready-to-buy users search. Fix technical issues that stop product pages being indexed. Then build category content and authority. Measure sign-ups and pipeline from organic, not just traffic, so you know which pages earn their place.

AI assistants lean on content they can find and trust: clear product pages, comparison content and mentions on review sites and industry articles. Make sure your positioning is consistent everywhere, answer buyer questions directly on your site and earn third-party coverage. Then track a fixed set of buyer prompts over time to see if mentions improve.

Target where your revenue is. Most Bengaluru SaaS companies sell primarily to international buyers, so research should be done by country, starting with your top market. If you also sell to Indian businesses, add India-specific pages only where search intent or pricing genuinely differs.

That's often the best setup. I provide strategy, prioritisation, briefs and reviews, and your team executes. It builds internal capability and avoids paying agency rates for work your team can already do. My specialist team can fill specific gaps, such as technical SEO or content.

Have a growth problem worth solving?

Tell me where you're stuck. On a 30-minute intro call I'll tell you where I think the constraint is and what I'd look at first — whether or not we end up working together.
